LOGICAL RETREAT / LEGAL
Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED 19 OCTOBER 2026
1. Who we are
LogicalRetreat Ltd, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland ("we") is the data controller for this website. Contact: jerry@logicalretreat.com.
2. What we collect
This website does not ask you for personal information directly. When you click to buy, you are taken to our checkout and course platform at courses.logicalretreat.com, where your name, email address and payment details are collected to process your order and deliver your eBook. Payments are handled by our payment processors; we never see or store your full card details. We may collect anonymous usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate country) to understand how the site is used. If we use advertising tags such as the Meta Pixel, they record visits and purchases so we can measure our advertising; where required, these run only with your consent.
3. Why we use it (legal basis under GDPR)
To perform our contract with you (delivering what you bought); our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the site); your consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
4. Emails
If you buy or sign up, we may email you about your purchase, where you have agreed, about related programmes. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the business (website hosting, checkout and course delivery, payment processing, email, analytics), under contracts that protect it. We never sell your data.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
Order records for as long as Irish tax law requires (generally six years); marketing data until you unsubscribe; analytics data in aggregated form.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, and object to processing, by emailing jerry@logicalretreat.com. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland (www.dataprotection.ie).
9. Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only as described above, where required, with your consent.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
